Melbourne, Australia – Following New York in 2016, the organizers of the World's 50 Best Restaurants (William Reed Media) have announced that Melbourne will host the 15th edition of the awards ceremony for the world's 50 best restaurants on April 5th at the historic Royal Exhibition Building. This event, in collaboration with Tourism Australia, aims to offer "the world's most influential chefs, sommeliers, leaders, and experts, along with a culinary education program from April 1st to 7th, showcasing Australian gastronomy and wines." In parallel, the Melbourne Food & Wine Festival has decided to align its dates with the ceremony, holding its festival from March 31st to April 9th.
