The Olympic and Paralympic Games boosted tourism to the Île-de-France region, which, through its tourism agency Choose Paris Region, is pleased with the increase in the number of tourists recorded since the beginning of the year. In the first half of the year, more than 22 million tourists visited Île-de-France, 3% more than in the previous year.
