In the heart of Alpe d'Huez, our establishment is a true local institution. Located at the foot of the slopes, it welcomes a French and international clientele every day in a warm atmosphere that blends quality cuisine, conviviality, and festive après-ski. With a capacity of several hundred covers, a large sunny terrace, and activity that intensifies throughout the day, the establishment has become one of the resort's must-visit spots.
In winter, lunch service can reach up to 800 covers, and from 15 pm onwards, the restaurant gradually transforms into a lively après-ski scene with a popular bar and daily DJ sets. This dual identity is what makes the venue so appealing and demands impeccable organization and hands-on management.
For the upcoming winter season, we are looking for a restaurant manager or a restaurant manager capable of supporting management in the operational management of this exceptional activity.

Restaurant Manager (M/F) on a fixed-term contract
As the owner's right-hand man, you are first and foremost a hands-on manager. Present with the teams from the beginning to the end of the afternoon, you coordinate all operations to ensure smooth service, customer satisfaction, and team cohesion.
You will manage a team of approximately twenty-five people spread across the dining room, bars, and kitchen. You will organize services, create schedules, participate in the recruitment and integration of seasonal staff, support their training, and ensure the maintenance of a high level of motivation.
You also ensure ongoing coordination between management, the kitchen and the dining room teams, manage beverage stocks and deliveries, anticipate unforeseen events and make the necessary decisions to maintain smooth service in a particularly fast-paced environment.
This position is for a professional who enjoys both management and operations and who wants to grow in an establishment where every day is different.
Profile
You have a proven track record as a dining room manager, assistant manager or restaurant manager in a high-volume establishment, ideally exceeding 300 covers per service.
As a recognized manager, you know how to unite teams, communicate your requirements and maintain an excellent working environment, even during periods of high demand.
Organized, responsive, and possessing strong leadership skills, you make sound decisions quickly while maintaining a constant presence on the ground. Your customer service orientation, high standards, and ability to motivate teams will be the keys to your success.
Conditions:
- Position available from early December 2026.
- Proposed remuneration: €3,500 net + bonuses.
- Seasonal fixed-term contract of approximately 4,5 months until mid-April.
- Individual accommodation provided.
The establishment is open exclusively during the day, with no evening service.
